WHY IS CASHMERE SO SPECIAL?
The Cashmere wool comes from the combing of the inner layer of hair from the underbelly of the Capra Hircus goats.
This particular breed of goats is only found at extremely high altitudes, famously in the Himalayas.
The Cashmere fiber, six times finer than human hair, provides great insulation properties
as well as amazing aesthetic properties: cashmere garments keep their original shape and soft touch
even after years of use – assuming that you take proper care of them.
We recommend a regular washing (after two or three wears) by hand,
in lukewarm water, with very little liquid wool detergent and no fabric conditioner.
Some of you may still wish to machine-wash: make sure to use the wool program-cold water-
very little wool detergent, no fabric conditioner and use a standard wash bag to avoid the garment to stretch.
DRYING & IRONING INSTRUCTIONS
Do not use the tumble dryer. Do not soak or twist. Dry flat on a towel sheltered from direct sunlight.
If you “machine-washed”, allow spinning at slow speed (500 revolutions per minute max) after the cold washing cycle.
Finally iron on a low heat without pulling or stretching out of shape.
